This is Jesse's arm, perfectly formed and all that growing space in between the bones...In the end no fracture just pulled out of joint.
Some days are like that, just a bit pulled put of joint. Today the oldest sparrow had a copy work meltdown, it happens...occasionally. His attitude gets a little out of joint, to be sure it happens far more regularly to me. And it always hurts to put it back in place doesn't it? The sparrow who was kicking against the goads, he did his copy work eventually after talks and tears.
The things that challenge us define us, too much easy and we loose our way. The preacher said we can't hear God in our comfort zone, it's like walking around with ear mufflers on. I think a parent would call it 'spoilt'.
Today I will be glad of the challenge the 'for sale' sign on our driveway represents. Today I give thanks for the simple things.
Like fluffy new additions.....meet Ashoka and Asaaj!
And in case you were wondering....NO I didn't make him write about the rabbits, some things (please read most things..) should be left to inspire without the threat of record keeping.
Love the Star Wars inspired rabbit names! Elijah is currently obsessed with the Clone Wars - he came home from school today having drawn and written about General Grievous and Jedi Master Kit Visto - not sure it was within the remit of 'African Animals' but hey good work none the less!!
ReplyDeleteKathryn, we are loving that you got the starwars reference. All the boys in this house are Star Wars mad, 'JEDI' was one of the first words Oisean could say! Geberal grevious would fit in pretty well in the Afican savanah, I wonder if he managed to spell it correctly though- I didn't have a clue!!
